Puro Accountancy is excited to assist an Accountancy firm in the Liverpool area in their quest for a full-time permanent Accountant to integrate into their warm and established team of accounting professionals.
Candidates who are AAT qualified or possess equivalent experience (QBE) are encouraged to apply. Additionally, our client offers support for further studies such as ACCA/ACA for those seeking to advance their qualifications.
Responsibilities of the Accountant will encompass:
- Produce year-end accounts for Limited companies, adhering to both FRS102 and FRS105 standards
- Formulating accounts for Sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs
- Completion of corporate, personal, and partnership tax return filings
- Handling management accounts (prior experience preferred)
- Preparation of VAT returns and occasional bookkeeping tasks
To be eligible for the Accountant position, you should possess:
- UK practice experience is essential
- Ideally AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent through experience (QBE)
- Proficiency in Excel, Xero, Sage, Accounting, and Taxation software
- Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with clients and colleagues at all levels
