Our Directors
Stephen Bowler
Having spent a number of years living in London, Stephen set up Purosearch in 2006 which enabled him to move back to Manchester. Previously he worked at one of the UK’s leading tech recruitment organisations, where he managed recruitment teams across four UK locations. Stephen is a lifelong fan of Manchester United; he enjoys both ski & summer holidays and when he is not busy with his family he can be found on the golf course.
Gemma Wright
Gemma has over 15 years’ experience of working hands on in a recruitment role. Her experience spans across a varied portfolio of sectors, she has spent the last decade managing and developing new business streams and building teams of recruitment consultants. Outside of work, Gemma is a mum to 2 young, growing boys who keep her extremely busy with their endless list of hobbies. When she isn’t busy being a taxi service, she loves nothing more than to catch up with friends over an Aperol Spritz, ideally in the sun!
Brett Budden
After graduating with a degree in history, Brett joined a large technical recruiting company as a trainee consultant working his way up to main board director. After many years of working at director level for large blue chip companies in London, Brett moved to beautiful Yorkshire and to Purosearch. He has three young daughters who keep him incredibly busy but when he has some free time he enjoys the great outdoors and keeping fit.
